Evangelical Faith Vision Ministries took to Pine Avenue this morning brining in the Easter season with their first, "Parade of Righteousness."

Kids lined the street as the decorated floats went by, and afterwards had the chance the hunt for Easter eggs at Riverfront Park.

Officials say they're overwhelmed by the first year turnout and are hoping to make this an event people get excited for each year.

"We had an awesome turnout, this is the first of an annual event that we'll be having every spring. We've had parades in the past, but this is probably our first in 25-years, and we just want this to become a premier event every year," said Pastor Felix Revilles.

After a barbequed lunch and some live music, Revilles is calling the event a success and one their looking forward to in 2014.
