Paper in the past for Ben Hill

Ben Hill Commissioners will be spreading out a bit more with less paperwork on their desk.

The Ben Hill County Commission met this evening and had a bit more room to spread out.

The commission has spent the last several months transferring all of their paper documents into electronic devices, something County Manager, Frank Feild says can only benefit them in the future.

"What we had was all these binders that would take up two whole shelves for the year, and so we shrunk those down onto I-Pads which allows the commissioners to have everything and anything at their fingertips," said County Manager, Frank Feild.

Feild added that by moving all of their information to the I-Pad, they save money for the county simply on paper products alone.
