Out with the old, and in with a better education system

The Dougherty County Rotary Club is aiming to make the education system in Liberia better, and more comfortable.

They're doing so by packing old classroom furniture that will be shipped to the country.

The country has suffered deeply from civil war, and Rotary members note this donation will go far, especially when the country doesn't have the basic supplies to begin with.

Jennifer Vanston with the Dougherty County Rotary Club says, "it allows them to actually have school, to have classrooms, and have materials to be able to provide education which is actually the building blocks of a country and community."

The school supplies were donated by the Lee County Schools System.
