Online boutique heads to Downtown Albany
ALBANY, Ga. —
A new business is making its way to Downtown Albany.
The Downtown Development Authority announced that Downtown Dawsyn Boutique will be the newest addition to the area.
The trendy women's clothing shop is an online boutique, but decided to have its first location at 104 Pine Avenue.
"We think it's going to add to the mix that's already downtown,” DDA Interim Downtown Manager Jacquelyn Teemer said. “It's going to be a very good compliment to what's already there, and we're just excited about it."
Dowtown Dawsyn Boutique should be up and running by May 1.
According to Teemer, there are at least four vacant buildings downtown. They plan on getting those spots filled with restaurants and shops by the end of the year.
