      One truck accident slows traffic on Expressway

      UPDATE (10:30 PM):

      The Albany Police Department confirm that 50-year-old Troy McClintoc was travelling westbound when he heard a loud pop.

      Two front tires blew out.

      McClintoc lost control of his vehicle and struck a guard rail that was on the left side of the roadway.

      The car spun around and went to the right of the roadway, coming to a rest in the grassy area.

      No charges were filed. Minor injuries were treated on scene.


      ORIGINAL STORY:

      Albany police are investigating after a one truck accident on the Liberty Expressway Wednesday afternoon.

      Battalion Chief Keith Ambrose with the Albany Fire Department says that a man in a Ford Ranger experienced minor injuries.

      The accident happened between exit six and seven.

      Northbound traffic was slowed as a result of a northbound lane closure.
