First Update 1:51 PM:
Officials have released the name of the victim and identified the woman killed as Marilyn Patterson, age 41.
Ashburn Police also released the name of the alleged shooter and suspect in custody as 33-year-old Joshua McKelvin.
A shooting at the Ashburn Inn late Sunday night took the life of one woman and left two other victims injured.
Witnesses tell FOX 31 that the victim was walking around with the alleged shooter for a while and something seemed suspicious, but they didn't read too far into it. Looking back, witnesses think she was trying to tell them something.
Once the woman was back in her room, the manager at the front desk received a call from her asking for help. Seconds after the call was made, gunshots were then heard.
According to witnesses, the shooter then left the room and started firing random shots; this is when he injured two others.
Ashburn police have yet to release the names of the victims or the suspect they have in custody.
