One arrested in Lake Blackshear boating accident

One homeowner was startled after a late night boating accident on Lake Blackshear.
Crisp County deputies, EMS, Fire Rescue and DNR responded to Scenic Route around 11:45 Sunday evening.
Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock tells FOX 31 that a boat struck a dock and then ran through a boat house located in the 500 block of Scenic Route.
About 45 minutes after the initial accident call, a Crisp County deputy stopped a vehicle leaving Veteran's State Park boat ramp with a damaged boat in tow.
Officials later located the operator of the boat of the a passenger at the cabins inside the State Park.
DNR Cpl. Bob Holley is investigating the hit and run and has charged the boat driver, Michael Hromalik, with boating under the influence.
Deputies say the boat driver and passenger both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Hromalik is in the Crisp County Jail and additional charges are pending.
