      One arrest made for Douglas gunfire

      One man is under arrest after Douglas police respond to gunfire at 1000 West Baker Highway on Friday.

      Police say they received multiple 911 calls about shots being fired and learned upon arrival at the scene, that two individuals were exchanging gunfire, but left before officers arrived.

      A gunshot-ridden vehicle involved in the altercation was found abandoned behind a residence on East Baker Avenue.

      Police were able to talk to the driver of the vehicle, 24-year-old Dorian Lama Stevens and after an interview, charged him with aggravated assault.

      The investigation is still ongoing and other charges may be brought.
