Norman Park gets ready for the holidays
NORMAN PARK, Ga. —
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Norman Park.
Many people from Norman Park came to Wednesday’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony despite the cold weather.
It was all smiles for families as the Colquitt County High School Serenades sang many Christmas favorites.
But the main event was, of course, watching the tree lighting. Many eyes that watched it lit up as well.
This Tree Lighting Ceremony has been a tradition in town for 10 years, and is something the entire community looks forward to.
“It means so much,” Mayor Bruce Norton said. “You get to see people you haven’t seen all year long, people you see in the community sometimes. They all go to different churches. They all come together and have good fellowship."
