A disability service for children, called Megan's House, hosted a fundraiser at Easter Seals Center Thursday afternoon.
Carol Holloman, president of the non-profit organization, "Together In Megan's Eye's" and Megan's House, says the program started in honor of her special needs daughter who died abruptly in 2003.
The annual fundraiser is usually hosted by Holloman and this year a 43-inch television was raffled off in order to raise money and buy equipment for Megan's house.
Last years earnings from the fundraiser got them a new van for transporting children. This year, Holloman says they raised around $2,200 which she says is their best earnings yet.
With the money raised they plan to expand Megan's house in order to be able to cater to more children.
Judy Day was the winner of this years raffle and took home a basket full of goods, and a 43 inch television which she plans to give to her daughter.
