At the beginning of the month FOX 31 told you that you may have to pay a fine for parking on the lawn in your neighborhood.
This week, commissioners once again discussed the idea. They decided that each individual neighborhood will get to decide whether or not they have a problem with people parking on their lawn.
Mayor Dorothy Hubbard said she's getting calls from people saying it's not necessarily that they don't want to park on their lawn, they don't want their neighbors to park on their lawn. Hubbard says doing this doesn't make for a good neighborhood in terms of how the grass will grow.
If two thirds of a neighborhood votes to impose the new rule, then that will be the law of the land.
