An Albany State University student, charged with vehicular homicide, made her first appearance in a Dougherty County Magistrate Court Friday morning.
No bond was set for Amber Marie Brown, 23, during the court appearance.
Dougherty County District Attorney Greg Edwards says if a bond is issued, the order would have to come from a Superior Court.
Brown is charged with vehicular homicide in the death of 28-year-old Damian Antoine Johnson.
Johnson passed away Wednesday morning when a Chevy Impala, driven by Amber Brown, struck a guard rail on the Liberty Expressway.
Brown is facing seven charges including vehicular homicide, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, expired license, DUI refusal, DUI Less Safe, and seatbelt violation.
