New jobs report shows positive economic movement
Some good news coming from the U.S. Department of Labor: Job openings increased and unemployment decreased in January
Employers added 243,000 jobs in January â" in December, 203,000 jobs were added. In January, the manufacturing sector accounted for 50,000 of the jobs added nationwide in January; manufacturing also accounted for 14 percent of the job gains in just over a year.
As for unemployment, it fell to 8.3 percent which is the lowest it's been since February 2009.
