      New exhibit walks you through 1994 flood

      With the 20th anniversary of the flood of 1994, Thronateeska Heritage Center is commemorating the event.

      Now you can see how Albany and Southwest Georgia was affected with their new exhibit.

      In the exhibit, you'll track Tropical Storm Alberto and watch it stall across central Georgia.

      The public is encouraged to share their memories by posting them at the "Flood of Memories" display.

      The doors will be open Thursdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in downtown Albany on Roosevelt Avenue.
