It's possible these three men may be the suspects in Monday night's armed robbery

The Neighborhood Grocery Store on Johnson Road was the victim of an armed robbery late Monday night.

According to the Albany Police Department, officers responded to the Neighborhood Grocery Store on 716 Johnson Road in reference to an armed robbery at 11PM Monday night.

Officers made contact with two store clerks, Ahsan Ayaz and Courtney Phillips. Investigators say that Ayaz reported that after they had closed the business and as they walked to his car, three armed men walked up to them and held them at gun point, demanding money. After searching him, they took his cell phone and the keys to his Honda Accord, which they searched. The men then forced them to open the store and go inside. It was there that Ayaz says he was hit several times with a handgun and forced to open the safe. After getting money from the safe, the men ran out of the store.

Authorities say that all three men were black males. One of the suspects was wearing a blue hoodie jacket, a t-shirt, and black jeans. Another was wearing a blue jumper and scarf around his head while the final suspect was wearing camouflage and gray pants. The weapon types are unknown at this time.
