Who do you call when you see a stray dog, you run into numerous potholes, or a traffic light is out? All you have to do is dial 311. The 311 Call Center mainly focuses on questions relating to the county, the city and Water, Gas and Light. The call center gets up to 140 calls a day, Supervisor Tricia Borsdorf says their goal is to make things as easy and painless for the community, "it's one call that's going to ultimately get you to the department or the person that you need to speak with, without having to know exactly who that is."
The cell center only takes non-emergency calls. If you have an emergency like a fire, a medical issue, or a break-in, call 911.
