Worth County officials have released the full list of individuals arrested in Tuesday evening's drug bust where they seized nearly $800,000 worth of pot.
Following a tip, officials searched Hook's Auto Shop on East Pope Street and found 799 pounds of the drug in the bed of a truck outside of the business.
Sheriff Jeff Hobby says it's the largest drug bust he's seen in South Georgia and because of the large volume of drugs, he believes more are involved and the number of arrests will soon go up.
So far, shop owner Calvin Hooks, Willie Hooks, Willie James Jones, John Allen Collins, Clifford Lee Alford and John Lee Miller Sr. are behind bars and charged with trafficking marijuana.
Sheriff Hobby says though they didn't find anything else inside the shop, the investigation is ongoing and he believes there is plenty more information to find out in the case.
Sheriff's officials say that Calvin Hooks had been previously charged twice with trafficking in the 80s and Willie James Jones is currently severing federal probation after being released in 2011 following imprisonment for cocaine distribution.
