Southwest Georgia Regional Airport is looking towards the end of July with anticipation, as the old terminal their currently in is falling apart around them.

Airport Director, Yvette Aehle says with the recent rains, they've had to break out the duct tape, and nail down some tarps, just to keep the inside of the building from floating away.

"We've put a tarp onto the building, just to keep the water out. Because we don't want to buy a new roof, and we're just trying to make it until the end of the month," said Aehle.

And although all this water work is costing a couple thousand dollars, Aehle says it won't affect budgeting for 2013-2014, because that money was already set aside for these exact circumstances.
