      Moultrie woman sentenced to two years

      According to the Moultrie Observer a woman who pled guilty last year to manslaughter in the death of her husband was sentenced to two years in prison.

      Cynthia Alderman pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter in August of 2013. She'll also have to serve eight years on probation, pay a $2,000 fine and $600 in fees.

      Her husband's body, Stanley Alderman, was found in a park in Moultrie. The GBI said Alderman died of blunt force trauma caused by being struck by a car. They ruled the death a homicide.
