People from around the community came together Sunday to honor the lives of 24 year old Latosha Harvey and her 4 year old daughter Emani who were killed February 16th by an 18-wheeler.

The motorcycle ride started at the Albany Mall and ended where the accident occurred, in Dawson.

Each rider paid a registration fee and all proceeds went directly to the family.

Demetrease Asberry, one of the riders, said the group decided to hold this event because this is what they stand for and they want the family to know they are behind them, along with the rest of the community.

Officials with the event said they raised nearly $1400 for the family.
