The Dawson Drug Unit has been quite busy, with a third drug bust in two weeks, occurring Thursday morning.

Police said they've been watching 27-year-old James Bell for some time now and used a warrant for a probation violation to search his home.

When police arrived at his residence in the 400 block of Oak Street, Bell wasn't there but a roommate let them in the home. Once inside, they found one large bag of marijuana, 21 individual bags of marijuana and a scale.

Officers learned that Bell was in Child Support court when serving the warrant at his residence.

He has been charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, and possession of a drug related object.

Bell is being held in the Terrell County Jail.
