Officers responded to 261 East Oglethorpe Boulevard Saturday morning, shortly after three, in reference to a shooting.

24-year-old Jasper Mack reported that he and 34-year-old Kortney Simpson got into a verbal altercation with two suspects in the Woodall's parking lot.

Mack stated that he thought the altercation was over but one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and started shooting at them.

One suspect is an unidentified, short, black male wearing a burgandy colored hat and shirt. He was armed with a black pistol. The second is a short, dark-skinned, black male with dread locks and a goatee and was dressed in black clothing. The suspects were driving in a silver, Ford Mustang or Infinity-type vehicle.

Mack's vehicle is a silver, Toyota Camry and after the gunfire, several bullet holes were found on the driver's side rear door and driver's side rear tire rim area.

Simpson was wounded twice.
