Thieves have struck again in Moultrie. This is the second time in the past two weeks thieves have taken farm equipment.
The Colquitt County Sheriff's Office received reports Monday of two cases involving stolen copper wires from irrigation systems.
Both incidents were reported on Livingston Bridge Road. The estimated value of the wire was $1,300.
Just a few weeks ago, deputies were called to investigate the theft of a tractor totaling about $81,000. Those thieves also took tractor tires and rims.
