      More details are being released from the October 18th fatal plane crash in Tifton.

      The National Transportation Safety Board says the plane started descending from its cruising altitude before radar and radio contact was lost.

      The preliminary report also states that no distress calls or communications were received from pilot, 39-year-old Michael Elliott Leadlay, before the plane crashed in the open field. The investigation is ongoing and FOX 31 will continue to include more updates as information is released.
