Minority leader makes major impact
Sun, 09 Jun 2013 18:51:26 GMT — The Terrell County chapter of the NAACP held a meeting Saturday inviting representative, Stacey Abrams to speak.Abrams is the minority leader of the Georgia House of Representatives and spoke today on the important work the NAACP is doing in the state, and how their game plan will affect the Georgians of tomorrow."The different steps that the NAACP puts out is something that is extremely important for the entire state of Georgia. And it's good to note that the work they're doing is a positive for everyone of all walks of life," said Representative Stacey Abrams.
Abrams added that the work the organization does is not only important for African Americans, but also can do great things for people of all ethnicities.
