The Georgia Association of Ministers Wives and Widows have been celebrating their 50th anniversary with a convention right here in Albany.
Thursday, Mayor Dorothy Hubbard visited the group and presented them with a proclamation.
Friday morning they gathered again at the Hilton Garden Inn for a reception and fellowship.
Leaders from the group say there are over 300 members but they all have a special bond, kind of like a sisterhood.
