According to the Georgia Department of Insurance, the snow storm Georgia experienced just a few weeks ago caused an estimated $10 million in damage across the state.
The estimate is based on claims reported to major insurance carriers. Commissioner Ralph Hudgens says this is a partial estimate of insured homes and vehicles. He adds not all company companies have reported.
If you have any questions, Hudgens asks anyone to call the Consumer Services Division at 404-656-2070.
