Mayor's Prayer Breakfast draws nearly 400 Southwest Georgians
The 37th annual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast took place at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Nearly 400 people turned out to hear Rev. Reuben Langat speak about how he became a Christian and the importance of having faith. As Albany continues to try to squash the high unemployment and poverty rates, Rev. Langat says that's possible, and it begins with the power of prayer.
"It gives us hope knowing that we are not in this alone. God understands the struggles that we are facing through," said Rev. Langat.
