The accused triggerman in a 2004 Colquitt County mass murder is on trial this week.
Alexander Woods III is facing multiple charges for allegedly murdering five people.
Back in 2010, Woods was charged with murder for the deaths of Betty and Katrina Watts and three others.
The victims' ages ranged from 3-years-old to 50-years-old.
Woods was the third person charged in the case.
According to the Moultrie Observer, Jerry Thompson, the first man charged in the case, took the stand Tuesday as the first witness.
Thompson testified that Alexander Woods shot victim Jaime Cruz Resendez with a 9 mm pistol.
Tuesday's court session wrapped up at 4:00PM. The case will resume Wednesday at 9:00AM.
