The city of Albany got into the holiday spirit early Saturday.
With the kick off the 23rd Annual Christmas Parade, residents showed up to enjoy the festive occasion.
The theme for this year's parade was "The 12 days of Christmas."
FOX 31 News caught up with some viewers to find out why the parade means so much to them.
"It makes me feel so happy and excited to see everybody out and enjoying Christmas time."
"We all have a common bond and thread in that to be an Albanian and share with fellow citizens."
"People just coming together as one, everybody coming together to have a good time."
The parade is known as Downtown's most attended single event.
