Man shot in the back on Maple Street in Albany
One man is in fair condition according to Albany police officers after being shot Tuesday morning in Albany.
The 44-year-old victim told officers that he was riding down the 1700 block of Maple Street around 8 a.m. when a black SUV pulled up and that a a black heavyset male with a low haircut shot him.
The victim continued saying he heard multiple shots, realized he was struck and fell to the ground. The vehicle then sped off.
A friend of the victim was able to take him to Phoebe for treatment.
Police say that a man has been arrested and charged in connection to the incident. FOX 31 has reached out for an age on the man before releasing his information.
