The Lee County Fire Department responded to a fully involved fire at a home on Kings Avenue in Leesburg early Friday morning.
Chief James Howell says they're investigating the fire and do suspect foul play, Howell said with no power going to the house, it raises questions as to how the fire was started.
There was no one inside the home at the time of the fire but there was a man staying at the house.
The resident told FOX 31 most of his belongings and clothes were in the house and nothing can be saved, it's a total loss. Although he lost most of his possessions he says he's just thankful to be alive.
The fire is currently under investigation.
