A grand jury indictment has come down for a man who led police on a high speed chase.

Vincent Williams is charged with trafficking cocaine.

The suspect sped through a residential area trying to shake-off patrol cars.

Officers caught up with him and found more than 28 grams of cocaine.

Williams is charged with tampering with evidence for trying to conceal the drugs.

Prosecutors will seek the maximum sentence in this case.

Another man also faces a stiff penalty.

Gary Potter is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

Police say he backed over 27-year-old Jessica Paris during an argument outside Coach's Bar and Grill.

This incident happened in January.
