      Man caught with copper tubing from vacant home

      Harrison has been charged with burglary in the first degree and criminal damage to property in the second degree.

      A 49-year-old man has been arrested after being caught with a trash bag containing copper tubing from a nearby vacant property.

      Police say that WIllie James Harrison Jr. was seen kneeling on the ground in the 1400 block of North Washington Street next to two trash bags.

      Officers noticed copper tubing in one of the bags and searched a nearby vacant home.

      They they found vandalism to a water heater, fire place gas line, a kitchen sink and bath tubing where copper had been removed.

      Harrison has been charged with burglary in the first degree and criminal damage to property in the second degree.
