      Man airlifted to hospital in Sylvester one-car wreck

      Georgia State Patrol is investigating the one-car wreck that happened on Massey Airport Road in Sylvester Tuesday afternoon.

      GSP confirms the driver of the Camaro Z28 that lost control and flipped was 22-year-old Joshua Boddiford.

      Officials say Boddiford lost control of the car, ran up a ditch and overturned. He was airlifted to Macon Medical Center where hospital officials say he is currently in stable condition.

      GSP officials say they are investigating the accident to find out what caused Boddiford to leave the roadway.

      A man in his early 20's was airlifted to the hospital after he flipped his car on Massey Airport Road in Sylvester around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday according to WorthIt2U.

      The man was driving a Camaro Z28 when he reportedly lost control and flipped the car.

      Worth County EMS responded to the scene and prepared the driver to be airlifted to the hospital, which backed up traffic on Highway 82 for around 20 minutes.

      The man was reportedly responsive but there is no current information on his condition.

      Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident to find out what caused the one-car wreck.
