Country music star Luke Bryan is making a stop home in Southwest Georgia for Christmas.
The Leesburg native will be the Grand Marshall of Lee County's 23rd annual Spirit of Christmas Parade and Festival.
Luke Bryan is known for hits such as "Rain Is A Good Thing" and "Country Girl Shake It For Me."
The parade kickoff will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, followed by a festival including entertainment, food and photos with Santa.
Lee County is kicking off the festivities on Friday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. with an outdoor showing of "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas," featuring Jim Carrey. Organizers are encouraging people to wear their favorite "Grinch" attire. Admission to the movie will be an unwrapped toy, can goods/pantry foods, or a monetary donation.
If you would like to be a participating sponsor, vendor, parade participant or be a part of the entertainment, you can pick up your forms from the Lee County Chamber Office, email your forms request to email@example.com, or call the Chamber at (229) 759-2422.
