In an effort to raise funds for Children's Miracle Network projects in the area, Phoebe is partnered with Walmart in East Albany.
During the event, Joe Martinez, the store's manager, put himself on the roof of the building at 10 a.m. and will remain there until the goal of $5,000 is raised. The goal of $5,000 was raised by 1 p.m. Amanda Biery, Phoebe's CMN Coordinator said "Mr. Martinez's willingness to do something like this is a huge statement to this store's commitment to the betterment of the community. We are so grateful to work with them on this project." Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals, including Phoebe, across North America. All the funds raised today will go directly to the organization.
