The union leader of the, "United Paper Workers International Union," was recently indicted on charges of embezzling union funds over a six year span.
District Attorney Greg Edwards reports that William James Price embezzled over $25,000 dollars of union funds from January of 2003, to May of 2009.
Price turned himself in to authorities this past week and was later released on bond by the magistrate court of Dougherty County.
As of right now no trial date has been set for Price, however District Attorney Greg Edwards says he could be taken to court as early as May.
