One local community is in dyer need of a 4-way stop sign and it's all due to safety.
It's needed on the corner of Rosebrier and Webster Street.
Residents in the area say people speed through the area.
One man said people have hit is fence numerous times.
Ulysses Williams says, "90 percent of the time people the people that are coming down webster, the people that are already stopped thinking that it's a stop sign there but it's not and then they take off by the time they get ready to cross the intersection."
Albany City Commissioner Jon Howard says, "there are a number of vehicles that come through here and have no respect for the two way stop sign so we believe that a 4-way stop sign is put in place that it will curtail the traffic from speeding."
Before the stop signs can be brought in, the Albany City Commission will have to vote on the issue.
