We all know that defibrillators along with CPR can safe a person's life, but how many of you actually know how to utilize them?
For past several weeks an organization called "Project Save," has trained between 12 and 15 staff members at Robert Cross and Albany Middle Schools in CPR and AED education. Now that they're certified, they're categorized as a "Health Safe School." Dr. Melissa Jordan of "Project Save," says there could be more schools to come.
"Hopefully all the schools in Dougherty County will be "Heart Safe Schools," which will help parents ease their minds in knowing that if something happens we have trained personnel right here in Dougherty County."
