Winners from the Heels and Wheels Duathlon pose with their medals. Proceeds benefit Megan's House, a respite home for children with developmental disabilities

55 athletes showed up to the YMCA Sports Park on Saturday to participate in the second Heals and Wheels Duathlon that organizers hope raised around $7,000.

Participants began with a run followed by a leg of cycling then completed the race with another run.

Winners were awarded medals for their efforts that helped an Easter Seals Southern Georgia program called Megan TMs House, a home for children with developmental disabilities.
