Local artists came out of the woodwork Friday evening for a monthly event in the new Art Park on Pine.
The Nights at D'Town event featuring live music, vendors and more moved to the new location in March and organizers say it only continues to grow with each passing month.
"This is the most we've had I think in a very long time. I think everybody's excited about having a park and a place that's specifically ours or the community's but it's a place where they can express themselves," said Cameron Malphrus, an artist who is also in the D'Town Arts Coalition.
Malphrus add this isn't the only thing they have planned for the art park and say they're about to take part in several different projects that will change a lot for our area's artists.
