Little Leatherneck Boot Camp produces tough little Marines

"They'll get a little history of the corps, the values of the corps and the pride you have within the military. It's an opportunity to see what their parents do and what their parents represent," said Paula Caserio Marine Corp Family Team Building Director.

April is the Department of Defense's "Month of the Military Child" and to celebrate the Marine Corp Logistics Base Albany hosted there second annual Little Leatherneck Boot Camp.

The camp was open to all Department of Defense Family members ages 5-13 and offered them taste of what it's like to become a Marine.

From stepping off a bus at Parris Island to water gun target practice these little marines experienced it all.

"They'll get a little history of the corps, the values of the corps and the pride you have within the military. It's an opportunity to see what their parents do and what their parents represent," said Paula Caserio Marine Corp Family Team Building Director.

In just its second year the Little Leatherneck Boot Camp has expanded from 20 to 60 children.
