Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital held its annual Lights of Love tree lighting ceremony Monday night.
The event, which raises cancer awareness, is in its 26th year. The Junior Woman's Club of Albany raises money each year for Lights of Love to help cancer patients. This year they've raised $36,000. This year's keynote speaker was ovarian cancer survivor Lynda Gray.
The money raised for the event will be used to buy a new van to drive cancer patients to and from treatment.
