The Dougherty County Library Board met tonight to discuss awarding the contract for the Main Branch Renovations.
The board decided to reject the all of the bids they had on the table and re-issue the contract for bids within the next 30 - 45 days.
When a contractor is finally selected and the renovations are complete, users can expect to see a more modern library.
"A little more modern, some new vibrant colors, it was very dated from back in the 80's, so this will bring it up to date with new finishes," said Jeff Harper, Library Project Senior
The project is a few weeks behind schedule, but officials say it's nothing to be alarmed about.
