A legally blind member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. gives back to his community with a clothing giveaway Saturday morning.
Legally Blind Clothing Drive Coordinator, Ervin Fulton, says he almost didn't want to do the drive this year but is glad he did.
Fulton has been putting on this drive every year since 1998. This year the drive was held at the Thornton Gym. He adds, "the only reason it happened this year is because my brothers and sisters came threw with clothes."
Fulton had, 33 people, not including kids, come out, which he says is the lowest he's had in three years. However, he remains undiscouraged and said, "If can help at least one person that's all that matters." Other members of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. also came out to assist with families.
