The American Legion Post 182 in Leesburg held a ceremony Monday morning to honor the lives of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, including one of their own, Steve Sutton.

Denzil Harrell, the incoming commander of the post, stressed how important it is to remember these soldiers and it saddens him that a lot of the younger generation doesn't know what Memorial Day is all about.

Harrell says he does this because he is a veteran and he lost friends and loved ones to war, and most importantly he does this to teach his granddaughter about the true meaning behind the holiday.
