      Lee Co. authorities watching waters

Trucks drive through deep standing water

Lee County Emergency Management crews are watching the water levels of the Kinchafoonee Creek and the Muckalee Creek.

Authorities say the Muckalee didn't pose any problems with yesterday's predictions but new numbers are in and the waters are expected to hit flood stage sometime Wednesday afternoon. Officials also say the Kinchafoonee will hit moderate flood stage Wednesday and is rising slightly faster than expected. Crews are out surveying water depths and handing out information to residents in low lying areas.
