Kids, parents, and public safety officials celebrate Halloween

Safety I.D.'s were made for kids

First Baptist Church of Putney hosted its Fall Festival Saturday evening.

Kids, parents, and law enforcement agencies all turned out for this year's Fall Festival at First Baptist Church of Putney. Dougherty County Police, Dougherty County Sheriff, fire department, state patrol, and the Georgia Army National Guard all took part in the festival.

First Baptist Church of Putney Pastor Joe Carr says they hold the festival each year to reach out to the community and provide a safe environment for Halloween. "Dougherty County Sheriff's Departments doing the finger printing for safety id's but then we have different games and activities that are going on that they can play, we've got free food for everybody," says Carr.

Organizers are pleased with the way this year's festival went and can't wait to host it again next year.
