If you're guilty of littering, listen up.

In an effort to Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful, Mayor Dorothy Hubbard spoke to local neighborhood groups about her second phase of her call to service initiative.

She says during this phase she's trying to put an end to littering, and she's working had to enforce how serious consequences could be if you're caught.

Mayor Hubbard says she's can only do this if the community steps in to help.

"It's something that everyone can do, we don't have to break the bank in doing it, we don't have to budget any money it doesn't cost you anything to clean up," said Mayor Hubbard.

She adds that if you are caught littering and it's your first offense, you could pay a fine of $500 or more.
